The journey
Many of us dreamed of owning the perfect maternity story but in reality, being a mother is never an easy achievement. There isn’t a manual on how to be a good parent and no passed down wisdom can ever prepare us for the challenges we face when we welcome our newborn over our damp chests. The nights we spend broken down in tears with a cranky baby in our arms only to have it repeat the very next night is far from a motherhood myth.
As two proud mamas to two mighty toddler boys and a chatty baby girl, we definitely have our fair share of struggles. As we found comfort in each other through endless overnight feeding chats, lactation was a common topic. We consulted experts, did our fair amount of research, and tried a variety of methods to boost our milk supply. Our journey led us to discover a lactation recipe that made our exclusive breastfeeding journey possible. The support we were blessed with inspired us to share what we’ve learned with other mamas. So we teamed up with our pastry chef friend to create lactation cookies of unique flavours packed with the right nutritional ingredients to fuel any breastfeeding mama.
Our Team
Hello My name is Vivian . As a mother of two boys, I often forget about caring for myself. My struggle with the breastfeeding journey with Liam and Marcus was not an easy one. They have ankyloglossia (tongue-tie) and eczema issues, Liam also has had multiple food allergies since he was a baby. However, the bonding created during nursing my babies and the time spent alone with them is the most precious memory of my motherhood.
I always want to make a change and TO the Moon and Bake allows this vision to turn into reality. We hope our products can help mothers to have an easier and more enjoyable nursing journey. At the beginning of the journey, a full baby means more sleep for the mother, then it becomes nursing is for bond building, having an individual time with your baby and building up a sense of security for your child.
